paulaPaula Beard has worked with the Sarasota County School Board for over 10 years mostly in capacity of School Counselor and most recently as a Behavior Specialist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida and a masters in counseling from Webster University. She is currently completing a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University in Sarasota.

 

 

 

rhondaRhonda Calahan has been a resident of Sarasota Florida for over 28 years.   She graduated from Sarasota Beauty school in 1991. She has been working in cosmetology ever since, which she loves because gives her more time to talk with clients one on one.   In Feb 2012 she became a victim of domestic violence and she went through horrible things.  She overcame them, and after all that she went through and with God’s Grace she is able to tell her story to many women to try and reach them so that they don’t go through what she did.  She’s also started a women’s group called The Queens.

 

 

vickiVicki Chelf was born in Kentucky. In 1971 she moved to the Laurentian Mountains in Quebec where she wrote La Grand Cuisine Vegetarienne, which stayed in print for over 20 years. It was one of the first vegetarian cookbooks ever printed in French.  Today, Vicki has 8 titles to her name.  She has been teaching vegetarian cooking since the mid 1970’s and vegan cooking since the 80’s. She has a bachelors of science in Holistic Nutrition and is a fine arts graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design.

 

 

ingridIngrid Herring was born in Sarasota. She’s a Sarasota High School Graduate.  She’s currently employed for a government entity and has been for the last 16 years.  In 2012 she received her AA degree from the State College of Florida. She’s also currently pursing a BA degree in Public Safety Administration.
